Crew Planner & Travel Coordinator

Crew Planner & Travel Coordinator 100% (m/f)

 

Your main tasks:

  • Crew Planner:
    • Planning of flight crews for scheduled, ad-hoc charter flights and training events according to availability, operational demands and regulatory requirements as follows:
      • Monthly crew planning & daily crew control
      • Planning of ATR pilot line introduction and line checks
      • Crew vacation management: system entry and overview, tracking of vacation credit in coordination with HR
      • Accommodate crew “days off” requests
      • Adjust crew schedule based on client needs while ensuring compliance with FTL regulations
      • Plan pilot ground courses (CRM, etc.) in coordination with internal and external instructors
      • Planning of all simulator training events in coordination with simulator providers
  • Travel Coordinator:
    • Planning and booking of itineraries and accommodation for flight crews, ground engineers and HQ personnel
    • Management of VISA and/or work permits (if applicable)
    • Invoice control for all travel costs

Your qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the aviation industry is a strong plus
  • Fluent language skills in German and English, French is a plus
  • Available as soon as possible
  • Very good IT skills
  • Very precise and thorough working style
  • Ability to adapt to constantly shifting parameters
  • Ability to plan cost-effectively within the regulatory requirements, taking into consideration also crew interests
  • Very good understanding for the procurement of travel arrangements
  • Cost sensitive approach to the procurement choices
  • Strong skills in evaluating efficiently and in a timely manner various itineraries / intermodal transportation options
