Crew Training Planner / Crew Planner

Crew Training Planner / Crew Planner 80-100% (m/f)

 

Your main tasks:

  • Crew Training Planner:
    • Planning and booking all ground, simulator and aircraft-based training and checking events for flight and cabin crew
    • Tracking and maintaining the validity of crew training documentation (Zimex AOC, ATO and clients)
    • Managing the process for new pilot training, supervision and upgrading
    • Establishing and maintaining a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements for flight crew
    • Liaising with National Aviation Authorities for pilot licence and type rating queries / issues
    • Liaising with all internal departments and external training providers
    • Completing ad hoc projects and tasks when assigned by the Supervisor
    • External costumer support, billing and course planning (courses sold to 3rd parties and individuals)
    • Cost control and invoicing
  • Crew Planner:
    • Operational planning of flight crews for scheduled, ad-hoc charter flights according to availability, operational demands and regulatory requirements as follows:
    • Monthly crew planning
    • Coordination with Travel department regarding crew positioning
    • Crew vacation management: System entry and overview, tracking of vacation credit in coordination with HR
    • Accommodate crew “days off” requests
    • Adjusting crew schedule based on client needs while ensuring compliance with FTL regulations
    • Daily crew control

Your qualifications:

  • EASA flight crew training regulation and requirements
  • EASA FTL requirements
  • Good internal customer skills. Interface with other departments to ensure good coordination
  • Ability to adapt to constantly shifting parameters.
  • Ability to plan cost-effectively within the regulatory requirements, taking into consideration also crew interests
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Understanding the factors that impact crew planning
  • Ability to communicate on all levels with internal staff and departments and external clients, such as training providers
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of crew planning software
