The HR Specialist, situated within the Human Resources Department, is reporting directly to the Head HR. This role is instrumental in facilitating smooth HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and benefits administration.

HR Specialist, Focus Recruiting, 80% – 100% (all genders)

Your main tasks:

       Recruitment:

  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with line managers, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct and lead interviews with line managers and candidates
  • Lead and coordinate pilot assessments for prospective candidates, ensuring that assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively
  • Recruitment Software and Assessment Projects: support in the implementation of a new Recruitment software

    HR Support and Projects:
     
  • HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining HR records and databases based on the subject recruiting
  • Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist in the onboarding as well as offboarding process

Your qualifications/requirements:

  • Federal HR certification or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a recruiter
  • Prior airline experience preferred
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and assessment tools
  • Strong communication and ability to build relationships with all levels of personnel required
  • Solid knowledge of social media and demonstrated usage of tools such as LinkedIn
  • Ability to quickly assess candidate’s skills/qualifications and attributes and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
