October 2020: Ferry flight from Switzerland to Tahiti
A ferry flight is always a very special mission in itself, hence COVID-19 has added many more uncertainties to this trip.
The aircraft was located in our hangar in Altenrhein, Switzerland where the maintenance team prepared the aircraft on-time for the ferry. The average duration per leg was 8 hours of flight, the longest leg took 12 hours between Oman and Sri Lanka.
Our experienced Crew arrived 19 days after departure in Tahiti with a total of 82 hours of flight, 12 legs and countless Covid-19 tests and were welcomed by the local crew with a well deserved “toss” on this successful ferry.
